{i miss you}

We were only able to raise 6 Monarch butterflies in 2011.  Mainly due to the drought.  Their food supply just wasn't available.  I really missed not having a bunch of hungry caterpillars in my house last summer.  :)  Hoping to remedy that this summer.

Alex will probably kill me for this photo when he gets older, but he agreed to put on Keira's dress and this purple wig one day when the kids were playing.  He put the wig on wrong but wouldn't let us fix it.

This really cool-looking caterpillar is still in chrysalis form over-wintering in my kitchen.

I didn't take this photo.  Our friend, Rainey, took it with either Laura's or Melissa's camera (I borrowed it from Facebook).  But this is one of my favorite photos from when Mel was visiting.  We had such a fun time together.
