This week's Shoot & Edit/Good to WOW theme is shadows. I had an idea in mind for this, but didn't get to actually implement it until this morning, which is why I'm late posting this. :)
This photo wasn't specifically taken for this week's theme, but it fit so I'm posting it. While I was running a few weeks back, every time I ran past this grass that was alongside the parking lot, it seemed to glow all around me. So when I was done running, I grabbed my camera out of my car and snapped a couple shots. You can't really see the "glow" so much though.
These next few were taken this morning with the help of my kiddos. When I saw shadows was the theme, I thought "shadow puppets". While these aren't technically shadow puppets (or maybe they are?), they are still fun.
Alex's really big head. :)
Nick's shadow eating the dark spot in the center of the flashlight beam.
Keira trying to make a bird. And Alex copying her. Obviously he didn't understand that he needed to stand back from the wall. :)
So there they are. Nothing fabulous, but we had fun. Not really sure what I'll do with them. They are very grainy because of the high shutter speed. But you might want to stop back here on Thursday to see my edits anyway. :)
