Photo of the Day: July 7 + a bonus

July 7
ISO 400, f/5.6, 1/250s, 55-200mm lens, Kim Klassen textures added
My chosen form of exercise this morning was a bike ride on the community trail that I typically run on.  I took my camera along just in case.  When I stopped to look for caterpillars on the milkweed, it was buzzing with bees and butterflies.  But no caterpillars.  :(
Hooking this photo up with Texture Thursday.
The Daily Wyatt

Also we had our 3rd Monarch butterfly emerge this morning.  It is a male although you can't tell from this photo.  He wasn't cooperating with opening his wings during his photo shoot.  So you'll just have to trust me.  :)

A community bike trail -- you are so lucky. We have to fight the traffic on the roads. Very dangerous. I wish we had specialized trails.
Lovely texture with the blossom. I mis-understood this challenge and thought it had to be real texture rather than virtual.
Oh well :-)
