Before the super frigid temperatures rolled in, the boys were able to get outside and make use of the snowman kits we got for Christmas. One set we bought, the other my sister-in-law from Florida gave us. Great minds think alike, I guess. :)
Temps were just around the freezing mark on Sunday, perfect for snowman making. Or in our case - snow people.
Nick was actually the mastermind behind the snow people. But Alex still enjoyed playing with them. And he was willing to be in pictures while Nick was doing is usual paparazzi avoidance maneuver. :)
This one, equipped with Nick's camo hat and Wii gun, was of course named Si.
The snow people didn't stay around for long because, before the arctic blast, it warmed up and rained on us. Leaving behind several large rock hard ice chunks in our back yard. A snow people cemetery, you could say. :)
We do hope to get more use out of the snowman kits this year. Better yet, we could take them with us somewhere warm and tropical and make sand people. Yeah, I like that idea better!

oh I love outside. Love your snowmen.
I have a carrot in house but with your kit.
You have created some fine talent.
I love it all.
Thumbs up!
Fun! That is winter and childhood in a nutshell!
That's a great idea and I assume such glories are only found North, Midwest, and Upper West Coast. I have never seen a snowman kit around the south, but it would love the chance to use one! These are such cute snow people!
I picked up a snowman kit at Target a few years back...but we still haven't had the opportunity to use it in GA. :( Fingers crossed for this year!
Such cute shots of your boys. Hope y'all have a great weekend!
