Welcome to another Scavenger Hunt Sunday! I enjoy participating in SCS to keep me shooting. Especially this time of year, I find that I don't pick my camera up much. With gray skies and cold temperatures, the motivation just isn't there. But thanks to SCS, I have a reason to pick up my camera. And, hey, only 66 more days until Spring!
Anyway, onto this week's prompts ...
{happens everyday}
It happens everyday that my kids brighten my day. However only Alex is pictured because he was the only one willing this particular day. :)
{upside down}
The weather was a bit upside down this past week. We went from 46 degrees on Sunday to -11 on Tuesday to 53 degrees on Saturday. I made it a point to snap a photo of the weather app on my laptop when I turned it on Tuesday morning. Yes, it does show -8 degrees. Wind chills were in the negative thirties. Brrrrrr!
{natural}
Honey's a natural blonde. And naturally curly.
{man made}
I have been learning how to knit lately. I started out with ruffle scarves and decided to move on to "real" yarn to see if I could do it. I actually finished my first scarf last night. It is exciting to complete a project!
{looking down}
Keira wanted to learn how to knit once she saw me doing it. So I showed her on Tuesday. She picked up pretty quickly and is making good progress on her project. Like mine, her neck gets pretty tired after looking down for a while. That's when it is time for a break.

Good for you learning to knit! I always found knitting to be so hard. I'm impressed you finished a scarf already!
What a group of perfect photos matched well for our hunt today. Your dog is so adorable and I must say I'm looking forward to the day our everyday photo won't need coats anymore!
Oh beautiful picture.
Beautiful dog.
Good for pretty gal there to knitt.
Your either a knitter or not.
I am afraid I am not.
So I admire who can.
So my friends knit me those cute modern scarfs which is hard I am sure for my birthday and Christmas.
Now I have so many. When I go out. I wear like he lad has. Over my nose.
When I go out to town. I wear the pretty kind my friends knit and crochet for me.
I need to learn to knit or crochet! Hope you have a warmer week!!
I love your post. Alex and your daughter are good subjects for their blogger Mom as is your dog. My wife has turned into a knitting fiend these days.
I love the shot of Honey. I have never been much of a pet person, but around 20 years ago a dog just showed up one day that looked much like honey. She stayed around for a few weeks, long enough for me to get attached to her, and then just disappeared. I love both of your knitting photos.
Great set. I love man made.
