Since I was a day late posting my Scavenger Hunt photos, it only stands to reason that I should be a day late posting my Project 52 pictures, right? It is a good thing that I didn't make a New Year's resolution regarding punctuality. :)
Last week we enjoyed the last few days of Christmas break (although, in all honesty, I was counting the days until school started back up). We enjoyed all that snow that we got the day after Christmas, which actually stuck around a while. We brought in the new year relaxing in our living room in our jammies. I enjoyed my new-found freedom from NOT having to produce a photo a day. And I enjoyed sending the kids back to school. In fact, I'm still enjoying both of those. :)
Just an icicle hanging from the front of our house ... in the morning sun. Taken through the window while I stood in the warmth of our living room. :)
The boys, the dog, and I went for a hike through our neighbor's woods. I was searching for some beauty in the midst of all this winter stuff. These weeds aren't exactly beautiful, but they are something. :)
The usually-elusive Nick laid (lay? lie?) down in the snow just long enough for me to grab a quick photo.
Alex, who has also been refusing pictures lately, asked me to take his picture while he sat in our neighbor's tractor wheel. How could I say no?

I find it very impressive that you were able to get such a clear shot of the icicle through the window, great job!
