One of my goals for some time now has been to learn digital scrapbooking, so when I saw that Jessica Sprague had her Digital Project Life class on sale (sorry, it isn't on sale anymore) and it was a short-term commitment (only a week long), I decided to go for it. I love the concept of Project Life and being able to do it digitally and make photo books from completed pages makes it perfect!
We finished up day 5 today and actually completed a page. A lot of what she is covering in class has been review for me as I already know how to use clipping masks and layers from using templates from The CoffeeShop Blog. But there are a few new tricks I learned.
Part of our homework was to use the skills learned so far and complete a page or two. So I chose to go back to 2011 and work on my Project 365 photos. I want to make them into a photo book anyway, so this is a great start.
Here are the first two pages ...
Side by side:
I realize there are 8 days in this spread. That's because New Year's Day was on a Saturday. And I prefer my weeks to run Sunday through Saturday.
I used the Original Project Life kit and a background paper that I had on hand from Scrapper's Guide.
The class is self-paced and is still available, so if it interests you, go over and check it out.

This is not a paid endorsement and there are no affiliate links. I just really like this class.

Fabulous work on these. I have been a digital scrapbooker for many years although haven't created anything recently. Good luck with your project.
That's pretty cool, Kim! I'm going to do a 2013 scrapbook, I think. Maybe I'll do one like this. :-)
Very cool! Well done!!! I have a few digital photo books I put together for Granparents, but afraid I am behind a year or two now. You are definitely helping revive my interest! BTW... thanks for popping by!! =)
These look great! I did the physical project life book last year - if I had photoshop I would try the digital one!
