Scavenger Hunt Sunday 6.26.11

It's time once again for another Scavenger Hunt Sunday!  (Has it really been a whole week since I last posted?!  Sorry!  Busy, busy, busy!)  I'm actually posting this from my hotel room in Boston where we came for the weekend so a few kids from our church could participate in Bible Quizzing Regionals.  They all did great and we are so proud of them!  Pictures to come soon.  Once we get home and I sleep for a week or so.  :)

Anyway, I actually got my Hunt photos ready early!  So without further ado, here are my interpretations ...

{windows/doors}
windows doors
Keira and I had a little photo shoot the other evening.  We spotted these red doors on a church downtown and knew we needed to use them as a background.

{eyelashes}

Alex's eyelashes ... taken with my 10x macro filter.

{paint}

This is from the archives ... a wall we came across in the Creation Museum back in April.  I thought it would make a cool texture.

{leaf veins}

My gladiolus flowers are growing.

{faceless portrait}

Another one of Keira from our photo shoot.

Head over to Ashley's for some more great Scavenger Hunt photos.  If you'd like to play along, next week's items are:

  1. Pop of Color
  2. Crossing Thresholds (Exploring with a Camera theme - check out post here)
  3. X-Ray (Katie's suggestion - can definitely be done in post-processing)
  4. Toy (Katie's suggestion )
  5. Hidden or Farm (Katie's suggestion - since you may not have a farm, your choice)
