Shoot & Edit Week Five: Hearts SOOC

This week's theme for Shoot & Edit with Jill and Ashley is Hearts.  I have really been enjoying all that Jill and Ashley have been teaching about photography and editing.  And I love seeing what others are photographing as well.

My "hearts" SOOC shot:
Week 5 SOOC
ISO 400, f/14, 1/15s, white balance custom

I saw these Valentine's Day erasers in the Dollar Spot at Target a few weeks ago and scooped up a couple bags for the kids to include in their valentine cards.  I don't like giving candy since they always seem to get so much, so these were perfect.

This photo ended up with very pink cast to it even though I set my white balance myself.  Hopefully I can fix that for Thursday's Edit post.  Plus I will remove that little dot above the erasers that indicates that my lens needs cleaned.  :)  I will admit I was tempted to fix that dot before posting this, but then it wouldn't truly be SOOC.

Head on over to Jill's and hook up your SOOC shot this week.

I can't wait to see everyone's photos!  See you back here on Thursday!

Great idea and love your sooc! Just a little bit needed to clean it up (like you said, with that dust spot and the pink tones) and it'll be "wow!" :)

Cute little erasers - and great idea to share them instead of more candy!

Great shot - you should be able to use the eye drop tool to adjust the white balance really quickly. :)
