This was a truly enjoyable book. The author draws you into the lives of the characters, causing you to want to know more about them and their lives. There are some tough issues faced in this book. Issues that made me examine myself and wonder what my response would be if faced with a similar situation.
The Pirate Queen is a story of love, commitment, family, and faith. I would definitely recommend this book. But be warned to have a box of tissues handy. You're going to need them. :)

I can't wait to read this...it sounds like something I'd really enjoy. Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC) is in a neighboring town where my husband does most of his work. I'm there all the time!
