Nothing. Absolutely nothing. That is what I did today ... and it felt great. Well, I guess I didn't literally do "nothing" because in order to do nothing I would have had to sit and stare at the wall, and even then I would be doing something ~ sitting and staring at the wall :).
I stayed in bed until 10:00 (my kids actually let me!). Then I puttered around the house, balanced the checkbooks, read email, worked out October's budget, stuff like that. I didn't shower until 2:30 p.m., which is unheard of for me unless I'm really sick. I played on the computer for a while, finished a book I was reading, made dinner (a new recipe I will share another time), washed the dishes, decluttered some magazines, and here I am ~ blogging. Doug bathed Alex tonight while I was cleaning up after supper.
So now I will read to the boys and get them tucked into bed. Then I plan to play around with my camera (Nikon D40) - reading the manual so I can actually learn about this wonderful piece of equipment I've owned for over a year and still really don't know how to use (the auto feature is great!). My friend, Laura, and I are taking a photography class together soon and I would like to have at least a clue as to what I am doing. Although I did take the photograph of the sunflowers that is my blog header (not too bad).
So I guess I didn't really do "nothing" after all. :)
Until next time ... God bless!
Kimberly

I was going to ask if you took that picture! I love it! I like how the flowers in the back are out of focus and the sky is so blue!
Manuals are great!
