As winter approaches I find myself not picking up my camera unless I am shooting a session. Pictures of the every day stuff haven't been a priority lately. I must remedy that. Especially for when I go to work on my Project Life and I don't have any pictures to use. :)
Last week I barely picked up my camera. I didn't have any sessions, but I was working diligently to process several sessions from late October. I also went to see Big Daddy Weave in concert at a local church, helped at the boys' school's book fair, and celebrated 17 years of marriage with Doug. We went out to eat at our favorite restaurant. Keira took a photo of us before we left (< -- click that link in case you didn't see it on Sunday).
This week is starting off strange. We missed church yesterday because Nick was sick Saturday night into Sunday. Today I photographed my great niece who just celebrated her first birthday on Saturday. She was born on our wedding anniversary. How cool is that? I'll never forget her birthday! :) We did her pictures inside because it ended up being colder than predicted for today. Once we got home Alex started not feeling well and I started getting a sore throat. Ick. The weather folks are calling for 1-2 inches of snow starting tonight, so tomorrow might be a stay-at-home-and-snuggle-to-keep-warm kinda day. We'll see.
Anyway, the only photos I have to share from last week (besides the photo of Doug and me) are these of my new Kelly Moore camera bag ...
I was so excited to take a picture of it right out of the box, I didn't notice that the one pocket cover wasn't latched and it a bit askew. That bugs me but I didn't remember to take a new photo. :)
It is called the 2 Sues bag and according to the website, has two fronts. Of course, I chose Eggplant as the color for mine. It is so much nicer than my old camera bag. I should share a photo if it sometime to compare. If I remember. No promises. :)
What did you do last week? I hope to get a chance to stop by to see!
Before you go, if you are on Facebook, I'd love for you to go over and 'like' my page ... Kimberly Vensel Photography. Thanks a bunch!
