Nothing like showing up late to your own party! This week's Scavenger Hunt items are sponsored by me, so I better play along, don'tcha think? :)
{kiss}
My husband was off work this week so we spent Tuesday together. We went to Living Treasures, went for a ride on a different bike trail, and then had lunch together. While at Living Treasures the tigers weren't exactly kissing, but they did share a tender moment together. As tender as tigers get, I guess, considering they were growling at each other while they nuzzled.
{askew}
Most of you know that we raise Monarch caterpillars into butterflies. Well, this week we got our hands on a Tiger Swallowtail caterpillar. He was already an adult and ready to pupate. I got to watch him weave this little harness onto the stick and was hoping to see him build his chrysalis, but he was sneaky and did it while I was gone on Thursday. He'll be in chrysalis over the winter and we'll, hopefully, have a beautiful butterfly next Spring!
{fragrant}
I don't know if our dahlias are fragrant or not but they certainly are beautiful!
{simple}
Something as simple as getting to see the baby leopards at the zoo makes me so happy!
{plant}
Doug found this stick bug the other day. If he hadn't been moving around, I would have thought he was part of a plant. He was really cool to watch!

That walking stick is crazy looking! Brad thought that was really cool, along w/ the caterpillar. :) Haha. I LOVE the tiger pic. BEAUTIFUL CREATURES! :)
Yay! Great shots this week, as always. I hate bugs, but that stick bug is pretty awesome.
Funny, your description of how the tigers were nuzzling sounds a lot like me and my husband. lol! Haven't seen a stick bug in forever - great find. Excellent group.
