I'm back this week for Jill and Ashley's Shoot & Edit challenge. I really enjoy participating in this challenge, but sometimes life gets crazy and I don't get to play along ... like last week. :)
This week's theme is Rain/Umbrella. While I didn't take any photos of actual rain, even though we've had plenty of opportunities, I did manage to photograph some raindrops. Here are a few SOOC shots for your viewing pleasure ... :)
I couldn't decide between these two. I like the angle on the first one better, but I love all the bokeh in the second. So I posted them both. :)
These are mystery flowers growing in my flower bed. Another plant is starting to sprout these really cool purple flowers. The flowers look like hyacinths but the leaves don't. Anyone know what they are? You'd think I would know since they are in my flower garden. :) But we've planted so many different flowers over the past few years, I don't remember.
So that's it for me for today. Stop back on Thursday to see how I edit these. And be sure to head over to Jill's to see more beautiful SOOC rain/umbrella shots!

I think the bokeh is lovely on the second - but I love the radiating leaves of the third shot!
ok I love all of them - even unedited :)
love all of them just as they are! it will be nice to see what you do with them.
They are already perfect! Incredible job!
Awesome shots this week!! I love the focus on the drops -- and the bokeh is great in all of them. But I love the bokeh drops in that last one -- looks almost like glittery rhinestones on the leaves...
Great job on getting some awesome soocs! :) Editing them will be a breeze!
Great captures! My favorite one is the last one, but these are all terrific!
Wonderful waterdrop shots.
