This week's Shoot & Edit theme is Easter.
Sitting in church yesterday, I knew that this first picture needed to be part of my Easter theme.
Because without Christ's sacrifice on the cross, there would be no Easter. Thanks to his death and resurrection, we are able to have new life in Him. And all we need to do is ask. Have you asked? If not, what are you waiting for?
Of course, we also have an egg hunt with the kids. They look forward to it every year. My husband does a fabulous job of hiding the eggs. Sometimes too good ... and then he finds one or two with the lawnmower. :)
While grocery shopping today, our local farm market had these Easter lilies for sale. I love lilies. They are one of my very favorite flowers. So I bought some. And headed outside to photograph them. Only one flower has bloomed so far, although it isn't quite open all the way yet. Can't wait until the rest bloom!
