Texture Thursday

Audrey over at The Daily Wyatt is starting a new link up called Texture Thursday.  She has asked us to post a picture (or pictures) containing texture, either natural or added, and hook up with her.

I decided to post a few pics.  Mainly because I had a hard time deciding on just one.  :)

The first three are from a nature walk the kids and I took last week.  We often walk through our neighbor's woods and sometimes down to their pond.

This is just a dead weed I saw along the way that looked cool.  Even though it has plenty of texture of its own, I added Paint the Moon's Timeworn texture and reduced the opacity on it some.

We came across lots of fungi growing everywhere.  So many different colors.  These were the prettiest shades of blue.

The pond was still almost completely frozen.  This was along one edge.  We thought it looked cool how it froze over the leaves and made this frosty design.

I bought my son, Nicholas, a new football the other day since our dog has almost destroyed his old one.  :)  It is just a $4.00 from Walmart ... because Honey will probably destroy it too. She likes balls.  :)

And just for fun, I dug this out of my archives.  I'm actually looking forward to seeing some of these soon.  :)  Come on Spring!

These are wonderful! Thanks for stopping over! All the Nikons are great, so you can't go wrong. But, I do know what it's like to be on a budget. I hate spending money, but I knew I had to. Love the blog!
