Typically Alex and Nick don't like to sit still long enough to have their pictures taken. However, the other day I discovered a way to get them to do just that.
I put the camera on the tripod ... set the shooting mode to "remote" ... and let them take their own pictures.
Nick was a bit more discrete about showing the remote in the picture. He was more concerned with showing off his Steelers attire.
They took a lot more pictures than this. Many of them are blurry because they didn't sit completely still and the shutter speed was slow (1/15s). Even these are not exactly clear after editing (high pass filter and sharpening). But that wasn't the point of this post.
I think I'll let them have control of this remote more often. :)
