I can't tell you how many times a day my kids tell me something I already know.
Such as ...
Mom! The dryer buzzed! (I can hear that!)
or
Mom! The phone is ringing! (Duh!)
or
Mom! The washer is done! (it beeps when it is done and I can hear that too!)
or
Mom! Honey wants in! (She barks at the door when she wants back inside and I can hear that too!)
So my wonderful husband the other day decided to imitate them when the phone rang.
Hon! The phone is ringing! (Funny! Get off your @$$ and answer it!)
I can only figure that my kids must think I'm old and can no longer hear.
Huh?

haha. Maybe you should make the kids let the dog in when they hear it bark, or fold the laundry when they hear the dryer buzz. :)
Laura - Keira and Nick do let the dog in, but they still feel the need to tell me that she's barking. We're not to the point yet where I'm ready for them to fold the laundry. I guess I'm just too fussy that way. :)
This is how it is for me at WORK. It's a little different but it reminded me of it.
Melissa - there's a misfeed on the copier.
Melissa - I'm going to the bathroom.
Melissa - I'm going to lunch.
Melissa - The printer is out of paper.
Melissa - What do i do with this fax?
the list goes on & on. & i want to yell "I DON'T CARE!!!!" It is not my job to know that they are in the bathroom or that there is a misfeed! I have no idea why or how people chose me to tell all this info! LOL!
