Another 5QF!

It's time for another Five Question Friday!  Thanks to Mama M. for hosting!  Hop on over and play along, won't you?  What?  You have something better to do?  :)

1. Have you ever had a celeb sighting?
Don Johnson & Melanie Griffith at Hard Rock Café in Washington DC in 1994. A group of us took a day trip there (5 hour drive to get there – we left at like 4 a.m. and returned home about the same time the next morning) and ate dinner at Hard Rock. While we were waiting for our table, we hung out in the bar a while. A limo pulled up and out comes Don and Melanie. Don Johnson isn’t all that tall. I never realized that until I saw him in person. And Melanie looked rough even back then.

2. What temperature do you keep your house?

68 degrees during the winter (I like it warm); cooler than that in the summer (my husband likes it chilly and I’m usually sporting a sweater/sweatshirt in the summer because of it.)

3. Do you notice dust at other people’s homes?

Not dust so much (unless it is really bad), but clutter. I definitely notice clutter. I try really hard not to, but I can’t help it.  I guess because I'm working so hard to eliminate my own.  :)

4. What's the worst job you ever had?

I haven’t had that many, so if I need to pick one, I’d have to pick the temp job I had for a few months before I got my “real” job.   I took over for a girl who everyone adored.   I had some big shoes to fill apparently.   I rocked that job, but I never felt fully welcomed by the other office staff.   The guys in the shop loved me though. :)   Thankfully that job only lasted a few months.

5. What is your most sentimental possession?

Besides my family, who technically aren’t my possession (they belong to God), my scrapbooks. I love to pull them out and remember when my babies were babies. And my kids love to look at them, which makes me happy and makes all the time and money put into them worth it.

I always tell my husband, if our house ever catches fire, after getting the kids and the dog out, save my scrapbooks and photo albums! And my computer too (since that’s where a lot more pictures are located). Furniture and clothes and stuff – I could care less about.

So, that's it!  Thanks for stopping by and learning more about me.   Have a fab weekend!!!

Our dust answers a bit similar. I do notice dust, but not consciously or in a judgmental way, I just see it. Goodness knows I have plenty of it!
