Hello! Welcome to my little piece of the interwebs. I'm glad you stopped by! My page is currently under construction. A work in progress, shall we say. So please excuse the mess. :)

Please let me know you were here by leaving a comment. That way I can return the visit! And if you'd like to grab my blog button, scroll down to the bottom of the page.

Remembering ...

This morning my email inbox contained a message from Caring Bridge. A message that surprised me.

This is the journal site that a friend of mine used to keep family and friends up to date on the progress of her 3 year old baby girl with cancer. Medulloblastoma to be exact.

This so very sweet girl lost her battle with cancer and went to live with Jesus on March 20, 2008. There have been few updates since then. Until today.

Christina wrote something so eloquent and moving that I can't even begin to summarize it here. Please visit her site to read what she wrote yesterday. Especially the last part (it begins with "Don't forget the season ...").

I was moved to tears this morning and again this evening while reading it, so be sure to have a box of tissues close. And if you feel so compelled, click on the Journal link at the top and read about Mary-Claire's journey. It just might make you appreciate more what you have.

I know I do.

We are blessed.
