Something you don't hear everyday

I just received a phone call from the hospital. We had received a bill from them last week for almost $200 for some tests Doug had done a while back, which our insurance didn't cover. No big deal. We put it in the budget for the month and didn't think much more about it.

This very nice girl informed me today that they would give us a 15% discount if we paid in full before the next billing cyle. The due date on the bill is 11/17, so I had it budgeted to come out of Doug's pay next Thursday. The full amount. So now I get to pay 15% less! Like $30 less! How cool is that?!

I'm always excited when I get to save money! Especially on stuff like this!
