Scrapbooking is my therapy. Well, one of my therapies. :) I love to create. But even more I love the friendships that I have established over the years since starting this great hobby. I have met more great women during crops than I've met anywhere else. And we all have at least one thing in common ... we're scrapbookers!
I was scrapbooking this weekend ... Friday night and all day Saturday ... with my friend, Bonnie. I was so happy that she was able to join me. I would have gone by myself, but it is always more fun when you have a friend. Sure, I know a few of the other girls that go to these crops, but they are acquaintances, not friends.
So Bonnie and I talked and laughed and ate and cropped and looked at each other pictures and scrapbooks and ate some more (I'm really going to have to go to aerobics next week!). I even managed to get a few pages done (which I will post this week). But even if I hadn't, I still would proclaim this as a successful weekend. Successful at relieving some of my stress of being a home every day and being sick all week. Successful at strengthening my relationship with Bonnie. Successful at being able to do something that I thoroughly enjoy. That is why I call it my therapy.
What is your therapy? What do you do to unwind or escape reality for just a little while? Do you read? Do you crochet or knit? Do you paint? I truly believe we all need to have something to get involved in that doesn't cause us stress, but relieves stress. So if you don't have a therapy, get one! You will not regret it!
Until next time ... God bless!

I shop for therapy haha. No really! I spend all day yesterday shopping. And I read. And lately I have been crocheting because I am still out of creativity with my scrapbook. Grr.
And speaking of the gym... I am STILL sick! The cold totally changed. It had been all in my throat and now it is all in my nose. I think I am SLOWLY getting better... but prob still won't be at the gym this week. :(
