Project 52 - Week 14

We had a beautiful weekend here in Pennsylvania!  It seems as though spring has finally arrived!  Better late than never, right?  :)  Temps in the low 60s today and I hear it is supposed to be upper 70s on Wednesday.  WOOT!  Of course, then it will turn around and be 50 degrees for a high on Friday.  But that is spring for ya around these parts.

Because of the warmer temps and sunshine I was able to get out with my camera several times last week.  And I hope to get out even more this week.

Before I show you the outside, here's a photo of my silly boys inside.

I bought the kids the movie Madagascar 3 for Easter, so they have been walking around singing Firework nonstop.  The boys asked me to record them singing upside down on the couch.  (I  have no idea why they needed to be upside down except just to be silly).  Of course, I had to snap a few still shots as well.

I showed you one view of the lilac buds in my Scavenger Hunt post on Sunday.  Here is another view.  I'm excited to see signs of spring's arrival!

These little purple flowers are covering the ground of our upper garden - soon to be my butterfly garden.  They are probably weeds but they are still so pretty.

Our daffodils are popping up too!

On Saturday we spent the better part of the day inside at Bible Quizzing.  Alex quizzed in the morning; Nick in the afternoon.  Alex got a participant's award and Nick got a bronze award.  All the participants brought home these little trophies.  Nick's not too happy about getting his picture taken, as you can see.  :)

Last week I also got asked to take senior pictures and prom pictures, which I'm both excited and nervous about.  Not so much the senior pics but the prom pics, since I've never done them before.  I love the opportunities to grow and learn!

Thanks for stopping by and seeing what we were up to!  I hope to get time today to visit.  I've been trying to get some things done and haven't taken the time to visit lately.  Spring cleaning, ya know.  :)

Have a fabulous week!

Look at those signs of spring! I noticed on my drive into school today that the trees may be hinting at blooming one of these days! Have a great week and thanks for linking up each week!

Spring is coming, slowly but surely! Wonderful set of images. Love the blooms and that gorgeous bird! I have no luck with birds. If I'm in the yard, they head to the neighbors!!

That upside down shot is wonderful. I'm glad they asked you to do it. It says "kid" all over it. Thank you for the reminder that spring is coming. It seems like it never ever would this year.

the two views of your boys personalities is a crack-up! funny that the older one didn't want to have his pic taken with a trophy but let you capture him hanging upside down (singing)... cute!

Love that first shot with boys being silly upside down. That is such a boy thing and it looks like they are having fun! Wonderful early spring shots. Nature is so amazing and you do a great job capturing it. Good luck with the new jobs--you'll be great!
