Top of the mornin' to you! I have apparently come down with a nasty cold that kept me up coughing quite a bit last night (the Nyquil I took didn't work so well), so I'm creating this blog post from the comfort of my bed. I plan to go back to sleep shortly. It's okay though because old man winter is back with a vengeance today. It is blustery and cold outside! I see no need to go out in it. I'm hoping this is his one last hurrah and then spring will arrive.
Anyway, here's a glimpse into what life looked like around here last week ...
Keira watched her cousins, Jordan and Christi, on Sunday so my brother and sister-in-law could go out to dinner. The weather was gorgeous and the kids spent most of their time outside playing. I made a point of snapping a few pics of the girls while they were here. This is big sister, Jordan. I shared a picture of Christi here.
Alex earned a reward this week so off to the mall we went so he could get a pretzel from Auntie Anne's. It was hard sitting there watching him eat that yummy cinnamon sugar pretzel while I ate nothing. :)
My friend, Laura, hosted a girls' night on Friday where our friend, Sarah, taught us how to belly dance. It was so much fun! I think belly dancing would make a really great workout!
Alex worked on his "scrapbook" on Saturday. I finally convinced him to write something about each picture. If he sticks with this, I may get him his own mini Project Life album. Right now he's just using a photo album with 4x6 index cards.
So that's just a taste of what our week was like. Looking forward to seeing what you were up to last week. After my nap. :)
One last thing ... I randomly picked a winner for the JJ Heller LOVED CD this morning. Congratulations, Diana! I will get your CD sent out to you right away!
Okay, so just one more last thing ... there's still time to enter to win a copy of the book Home Run. But be sure to enter by Tuesday. Winner to be drawn on Wednesday, the first day of spring!

Hope you feel better! That pretzel looks delicious!!
The belly dancing sounds like a hoot! I'm sure it was a barrel of laughs, and great exercise!
Wow that skirt caught my eye. I wondered if it had anything to do with belly dancing. That skirt is pretty but I wonder if it is equally noisy?
Hope you feel better!!! You are killing me with that pic of the pretzel. I love that place- used to get one every time my mom & I would go to the mall. Have not had one in probably 20 years. Geezzz- I can't believe it's been that long
The colors in the belly dancing skirt are so nice. Hope you get to feeling better and that's so great your son is working on his own picture book. The project life mini kits would be perfect for him.
