Happy Monday! Doug, the kids, and I just got home from a trip to the zoo. The kids are off school today for President's Day so Doug took the day off also. It was a nice but chilly day, and I got to try out my 55-300mm lens. I really like being able to zoom in that close! Pictures will be posted later this week.
Last Monday after school the kids and I went for a walk through the woods and down to our neighbor's pond. The weather was warmer and it was a nice day to be outside.
I really don't know what they are doing here except that they wanted to show off their walking sticks. :)
When we got back from our walk, Keira went inside and the boys decided to swing from their vine for a few minutes.
Nick wanted me to get a photo of him but I couldn't get a good one where you could actually see his face. We'll have to try again soon.
If I remember correctly, it got really cold over night and Tuesday was pretty cold.
Keira made a monster Valentine box for her Youth Group party. It turned out really cute!

Walking sticks are so much fun. I like it when the kids get back to nature and swinging vines too? Lucky! That valentine's box is so cool and amazing. She did a fabulous job.
