I'm a little late to the game this time around (seems to be the story of my life these days!), but I'm getting this in under the deadline. Every quarter Ashley, Amber, and Sarah host a link up for our favorite photos of our kids (and/or pets). Here are mine from July, August, and September, in no particular order.
This is the photo I used for Alex's thank you cards after our lengthy hospital stay this July. There were so many people to thank for so many different things! And I wanted to make the cards more personal, so I made this sign and had him hold it. We took LOTS of pictures and both agreed that we liked this the best.
There's just something about this photo of Nick and Alex playing in the tunnel at the park that I love. Keira is even in there too, although you can only see part of her.
Speaking of Keira, she took a kids' photography course over the summer using my old Nikon D40. We were outside playing one day and I got this shot of her. She isn't quite as interested in photography as I am, but she still enjoys it.
Nick is a hard one to nail down these days. He loves to scream "PAPARAZZI!!!" and run the other direction when I try to take his picture. So sometimes I need to be sneaky, like this day at the Carnegie Museum.
I couldn't decide which kid to show for the back-to-school photos, so I'll just show them all. We cheated a little and took BTS photos the evening before school started. That way we weren't rushed in the morning. They all cooperated pretty well. Even Nick. :)
So that's it for me! Be sure to stop by and visit one of the hosts (links are above) and see some great photos of some adorable children!

Love that tunnel picture! and the picture of Nick with the water. Great compositions and the lighting on the tunnel pic is amazing.
What a great idea for thank you cards! I'm a big believer in those & might have to try this sometime. :) Your tunnel shot is really cool too. Great work!

I really do love all of your photos, but the silhouette in the drain pipe is just so neat.
